Experienced defender Richard Keogh became Matt Bloomfield's first new signing as Chairboys boss, returning to Adams Park in July 2023 after eighteen years.

Capped 26 times by the Republic of Ireland, Keogh played three times during a loan spell from Stoke City in 2005 before embarking on a career with Bristol City, Carlisle, Coventry, Derby, MK Dons, Huddersfield, Blackpool and most recently Ipswich, where he won promotion from League 1 last season.
