Wycombe Wanderers, together with its charitable arm, the Sports & Education Trust (WWSET), are pleased to begin a new matchday initiative inviting male fans to get together to discuss issues relating to mental health and wellbeing.

Chairboys Chat, kindly funded by Heart of Bucks, seeks to provide male Chairboys fans with an informal learning and support network via the delivery of friendly post-match get-togethers following each home fixture during 2022, starting on 10th September with the game against Port Vale.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to talk openly about football plus a range of topics that influence men’s mental health and wellbeing, such as relationships, alcohol, parenting, finances, gambling, physical health and fitness, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Taking place in WWSET’s Learning Suite (located in the building behind the Adams Park giant screen), the sessions will feature numerous guest speakers, all of whom have an interest or lived experience in the topics being discussed.
